It leaves when the new LSA blower goes on.
Juice told me that the intake and the vararam are gone when I was texting him sunday.

Really doesn't matter, Id expect a stock cam to idle great.

I have all the email and text communication. Last text I had on November 20th stated
"Ok, it idled a little high. Ill do some logging in the morning. Its WAY better now. I can promise that."

Never got a log, never heard anything else until I saw this thread. Is a 7 hr drive to AR a hassle..yes. But we had offered to look at the car in person, multiple times. We tried working off the logs we did receive from him.

Was I always right back sending a new tune. No. Workload unfortunately doesn't allow me to send something back right away sometimes. Do I sometimes forget things. Yes.

Did I make an attempt to remedy...multiple times.

It unfortunate it worked out like this, I have nothing against Juice, or ADM at all.

I didn't like how it was posted to make it look like it was an impossible setup to remedy. There are too many out there to prove otherwise. I didn't apprectiate that not one time, did a post pop up saying that we had tried to get the car back here, and had been trying to work with it along the way.

Never was it mentioned that after he did the heads on the car, he felt like it improved. I called him when I saw he had done some headwork, offered to look at the car then. I don't want some half ass shit out there.

At the end of the day, it isn't always a happy ending. I enjoyed working with Juice, good guy, just couldn't get things right or make him happy in the end.

Looking forward to seeing how the car does with the new setup!

I now have the stock intake back on the car as of late Saturday night. It was on the car for several days after the swap though. Hadn't updated Andy to that change yet as we are putting on his intake that works with the blower configuration when I get back to his shop.

While I can say some of the blame lands on me for not driving back to northern Arkansas, I was getting very slow or no responses on many emails and texts. I called the dealership and had to call twice to get returned messages. The car had none of these issues when it was first picked up. They became an issue on the 7.5 hours drive home and began to increase as time went on. I'm sure an in person look would have been far better. Just couldn't break away from the area. Doesn't help that I have a terrible motorcycle accident and was not driving anything for a month. The November 20th text was followed up by me admitting to the ER to have my appendix removed. When I checked out, I sent two logs. One of idle on cold start and backing out of my driveway. Followed up by one on the highway by my house.

Videos of the idling from inside the car were sent. Outside the car were sent. Video of clacking noise after install was sent. Clacking noise was gone after the head swap. I assume it had a noisey valve, spring, or rocker needed adjusting.

All in all, the car was strong but working through the issues in the tune were odd. Two schedules that didn't line up for the most part. I needed to move the car to something I could get service from local. I am SURE Ryan could have figured out what the issues were if he had the car in front of him. The plans for the car have changed and the only reason I am upset is because I see other cars here with the same or larger cam running fine. All in all, I liked taking the car to the track with this cam and all my added pieces. It was fun to watch the 5.0 drivers think they are faster when my quiet 5thgen would line up next to them.

I'd like to get this post back to the subject. The LS9 cam and GMPP heads in an L99 work fantastic and create good power. Midrange has slacked with the loss of VVT. I'm sure the LSA will make up the difference. I'm taking bets on horsepower numbers. Anyone want to take a guess?

Ill give mine when its on the dyno. I bet andy lunch on the 1st pull the other day and nailed it exactly. I called 463rwhp and it was 463.4rwhp. Lol. With the heads and cam with 10psi boost and 93 octane it should put down 600rwhp.

Set up

I have the exact same set up and with 3.2 pulley it makes 9 lbs. and I make
580/580 on a mustang dyno so 600 is a good quess depends on size of pulley
But my clutch was slipping and now need a new one Tuned at 510 race

Lol. Camarojt

Juice 600 rwhp is no joke. Instant torque is fun but dangerous also. There is no driving down the freeway at 60- 70mph and stabbing it to the floor. I did it just to see and it will go sideways. Throttle control is more needed that is for sure.
