I live in Denver and drive mine all year. The stock tire are dangerous under 40 degrees. I know that it's expensive, but winter tire or shipping are what I recommend. I run the Pirelli Soto Zero tire about 8 months a year and have been happy with how they perform in the cold and snow.

I took mine out in October , when it was 40 out . It was scary at first. The car almost didn't want to turn . Take it real easy , or just get it flat bedded . You have $60k to spend on a car,spend some $ on a tow .
