It has a 2.5" Corsa on it. I'll have an interior video up in a bit today. The turbos replace the cats however if you do have emissions in your area you can plumb in some hi flo cats further downline.

1 - will you offer the kit with the wastegate dumps instead of recirculating into the exhuast?

If we do the install it would be possible to vent the wastegates to atmosphere.

We are planning on trying to retrofit the kit to the G8 but it may be months before we get to that point.

Very impressive power for an L99...that would be close to 600rwhp on an LS3 IMHO.

We agree however much will depend on the capabilities of the stock fuel pump.

Drive home from Ohio to Florida in my TT Camaro

Guys, this is my Camaro, Intense did an amazing job with the built; these guys are pros and extremely knowledgeable. I just arrived to Jacksonville, FL from Columbus, OH; it took me 13 hrs to get home with an overnight stay in NC, but it was a fun drive.

This car handles like a regular V8 SS under normal driving conditions; however, when you step on the gas it becomes a monster of a machine to say the least; it is too fun to drive. I am glad I took the car to INTENSE to do the built and the risk on a new car.

With regards to concerns on the position of the filters; I must tell you that they are covered by protective plate and on my drive home I encountered heavy rain for the last 45 minutes, including going through water pockets in the highway at 60 mph; the car never once hesitated whatsoever, it kept going like any regular car would. I must say I was nervous at first but INTENSE was right about the car being a daily driver without any problems.

I am planning on taking the car to the track next week to see how it would run, with 545 rwhp on hand, I’m anxious to know if I can break into the 11’s, we’ll see.

If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them, but one thing I would say; if you’re thinking about FI, INTENSE are the guys to go to, they were fantastic.

"break" into the 11s???? That thing should "break" into the 10s if you can hook it. I'd be very surprised if it doesnt run mid 11s all day long

Nice car!!! I'm very envious

The OP is right...

I don't think you guys realize how hard it will be to get these cars to run impressive times. 500rwhp has gone 9's in a 3400lb 4th gen...for example LMR's twisted slayer made almost 600rwhp and ran mid-11's on Drag Radials.

Weight and suspension are key's to running a low number, but with this car you WILL be sacrificing its ability to be a great "all around performer" if you start hacking this car up. The true test will be running great times in the 1/4 and roadcourse. I'm sure we will see many one trick pony's start popping up, running impressive times...if having only a 1/4 mile beast is their goal, I'm sure they will be successful. I will be more impressed with those who take a no compromises approach and create a set up that can do both.

I've been looking at some of the GT-R forums, for a car that weights similar (GRANTED it has alot of technology, and sports a very sophisticated AWD system, and bulletproof motor), but that car can turn AND launch, GT500's do a fair job at both, of course Vette's are stupid fast at both...

I thought I'd stand a chance with a GT-R if I saw one out, but I'm not so sure now...

I agree with pharmd, it is hard to launch this car, hence my statement on hoping to break into the 11's. I don't have DR's or aftermarket suspension, therefore, I still need to learn how to launch it as is. I was told by INTENSE who happen to have a fast a$$ G8 with almost 900 rwhp that this car with DR's could possibly break into the 10's but as is, it is hard to tell.

With a great launch, DR and a properly stalled converter come late october/november you might have a chance....I think you may need a little more boost though. Scott was making 11psi when he ran 10's, and he has a custom turbo cam, custom fuel system, a stall converter and was running slicks and skinny's. You're car's a little lighter, but it will still take alot of power. I hope you do it, and I hope I run 0.01 slower

I feel confident you'll be in the 11's, with DR it will be a very solid 11.

I did a few runs with dynolicius software and it said that it ran 12.25 in the 1/4 mile (driver and passanger inside the car). I'm not sure how reliable is that iphone software, but it's the best I have until I go to the track (hopefully, this Wednesday).

The L99 Camaro is faster than the G8GT, I ran a 12.6 on the stock tire making 356 rwhp with my L99 Camaro. I wouldn't worry about 11's, even on a junk pass you will run 11.x with that much power on tap. Congats on your new found power, and Intense, that kit looks real nice!
