Sorry for the bad color, my photo was taken with my phone in crappy garage lighting.

Let me know what you think. Improvement? I tend to hate silver steering wheels

EDIT: I took a nicer photo of my steering wheel:

Thanks
Dang , you should apply for a designer for interiors at GM

I don't know, I did it while it was still attached.

Yeah I'm already getting the itch.

I dont know if I'm good enough to cover it with vinyl wrap and I'm not sure plastidip is sturdy enough. I might have to get help from a pro.

Tonight I did the gauge bezel and air vent bezels.

Air vents were easy and I did them with 3M Vinyl Wrap.

I tried wrapping the gauge bezel with 3M Vinyl wrap and I almost had it but I messed it up :( Unfortunately I ran out of vinyl wrap so I decided to go with plastidip. That wasn't a great idea, now my gauge bezel stinks. I'm letting it air out over night, hopefully it doesn't take over my new car smell when I install it tomorrow :/

Here's a picture of the plastidipped bezels sitting on my clothes dryer.
I deliberately brightened up the photo so you could see the dark details a little better. It may be deceiving but the black perfectly matches the 3M vinyl wrap.

Here's a photo of my dash with the gauge bezel removed and you can kinda see the air vent bezel too:

I'll have better photos when I put it all back together tomorrow.

How hard was it to remove all those pieces?

Really hard -- but once I figured it out, I realized it would have been easy if I knew the right way to do it. The bezel pops out with a good tug. Its the rubber part behind the steering wheel that confused me, but there are some youtube videos that can help.

EDIT: Putting the gauge bezel back on was a nightmare for me. The clips wouldn't fit as they originally did and it just looked like crap. I ended up having to bend some clips to get it to sit right. It now looks as good as new but it was pretty scary for awhile.
