of course Vancouver don't always get the heavy snow like you get in Toronto, but salt and sand will be on the road for a quite while after the snow hits. We better keep our Camaro off the road.

I will be driving mine throughout the winter. Does anyone know of a 18 inch rim that is hub centric?

i have never had any issues driving in the winter with all seasons. sure winters would be better but you just need to know the limits of the tires and drive accordingly. i have a 2lt RS and just bought some 19" takeoffs with allseasons. i will be trying those. i will be getting the 3M front guard film, thanks for the heads up on the rust proofing, i forgot about that, now i just need to find a place to do it at a reasonable cost.

if it really is that bad with the allseasons, i can always buy winters later.

Mine will be parked as well safe and sound in my garage. My husband is buying a used 4x4 truck to drive his 6km to work and use for around the farm and I'll take over the Avalanche. This will work out better as he has been missing not having a old truck to haul wood and wood chips and his dirty work clothes has always been a concern for him in the Avalanche. He likes to keep our vehicles super clean in and out and in top shape.
My first intention was to buy a non RS 2LT so that I can drive it all year round. But, when it boiled down to it, it really needs that spoiler and those halo lights are a must have and I really didn't want to cheap out for the sake of driving it in crappy snow!.
So, no regrets here with my 2LT RS and I did get paint protection and some undercoating and won't have to worry about all that salt/sand damage that inevitably wrecks the finish.

Our car will be put in the garage on snowy/salty days...unless its dry and very cold out...only good weather will see the car out!

I could not bare to see salt on this car it would kill me seeing that. Ontario is a salt belt very hard on your car. On top of that so many people do not know how to drive in the winter in Canada. A person last year hit my car trying to park beside me

i drove my camaro covered in snow, out of the shop for the day, back in.
i almost cringed turning the key. like the car was saying," buddy.....look... what i ever do to you?" i was putting snow wheels on my tuner car , which has been demoted to winter use, and drag racing. the camaro can sit in room temp all winter. it likes it. it told me.

The car comes with remote starter, heated seats and mirrors and has AN AMAZING heater. I think they built it thinking it will be used in the winter.

I can't wait to get my car, find a nice large snow covered parking lot and proceed to have some quality time with the handbrake.

AND you can do burnouts and power slides till the cows come how without having to drop a bajillion dollars on new tires.

I live in Victoria... winter only last maybe one week a year on average. At least if you are talking snow fall, so I will be driving all winter. Now I just have to wait the 3-7 days I have left until it arrives. Been a long wait since July 13th.
