JBA Shorty Ceramic Coated Headers - 12/04/09

Just got back from getting my JBA Ceramic Coated Headers installed. really great guys! Lots of amazing GT500's in the garage! Great facility, fast work, good service, very knowledgeable.

CamaroSSguy recommended them to me now I am recommending them to you! They also gave me a great price on the headers!

Greg Rentis - 619-569-4188
http://www.mustangsandmotorsports.com/ - coming soon

They installed the headers, and then reset the computer. Greg suggested coming back in about 500 miles to have them retorqued. I'll do that on the 18th right before heading up to Willow Springs

They used the gaskets that came with the headers. Also to note, you'll see the 1 red spark plug wire at the back on the driver's side. The headers do not allow the OEM wire to be used. So, if you get the headers from JBA, they recommend getting the full set of performance wires to go with them

I didn't think she could sound any better! I was wrong! The headers give The beast a little deeper & louder growl! I love it!! Didn't get her dynod, but butt dyno says she feels a little more potent!

How did you get the lighting on the front of the dash like on the doors?

There's a few DIY's on how to do the dash ABL. It's not hard. Take a look through the DIYs - they've esed light tubes, EL wire, and maybe another lighting. If you have a 2SS, you already have the connectors and GM sells the light sources.

You can do it without the ABL harness as many people have - switched, connected to the dimmer, or just on all the time...

Yes, on the Streets of Willow Springs - the smaller track. It was a blast and the car handled very well!

01/08/10 Updates

Ok, installed Dynamat in the trunk areas. Could have used more, but I can add more later. Also, secured the ********. With agressive driving it bangs around, even though it doesn't come out. So, I did the same "L" angle bracket like the one on the amp side. A little tough securing it to the sub box, but she seems tight now. I also put LocTite adhesive on the front portion - pictures to follow.

I also installed a Bass remote switch for the QuartMB amp powering the ********. Pictures to follow on that. A very easy install and easy to route along the passenger side across the bottom of the dash to under the steering wheel.

More to come...Stillen drilled/slotted rotors, Goodridge SS brake lines, Orange caliper paint all on order Also Billet Black race pedals ordered
