I, for one, didn't want the "Halo's" on my 2SS as I think it looks better without them IMO. I did, however, want blue / white HID bulbs .. so that is what I did! Couldn't stand the yellowish light from the standard halogens so I upgraded them and now I too have HID headlamps and all for less than $100 not the $1,380 the RS would've cost me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in ordering the 2LT, the upgraded stereo is already included.

I like the halos, and really want the spoiler. But the cost to replace the RS tires killed it for me. They are $398 and $438 each (front and back), before installation. And since you can't rotate them, I would guess they won't last more than 20k miles. Sounds like $2000 every two years, or $85 per month for tires.
I live where it snows, and I believe these Max Summer Performance tires will be useless when the roads are snowy or icy.

I want my Camaro to be an every day driver, not garage candy for 4-5 months. And I didn't want to buy another set of wheels and winter tires and have to switch them out.

With the 19" polished wheels, I get all-season performance and the ability to rotate them to even out the wear and make them last longer. They cost $198 each (less than half the price, and may last 50% longer (30k). That's $1000 every three years or about $25 per month.

So, I ordered my 2LT without the RS package. I will get a spoiler either from the parts department or aftermarket, and would like to add halos if I can. But if not, I will live with the standard headlights and use the savings to pay the insurance.
