You shouldn't have all these parking sensors w/o the curb feelers too!

(licence plate) other than that, they look fine. have fun parking a Camaro in Europe... that's going to be one hell of a job! those of you who say he needs to learn how to drive/park, you've obviously never been to Europe. :P |

I personally don't like the parking sensors - front or rear. I have them on my Avy and find them annoying. The only nice thing is they give you a warning if something small is hidden behind the vehicle (i.e. bike). I think it's important for everyone to have a good handle on where the extremeties of their vehicle are. But, sadly, not everyone knows that and some don't have good depth perception (think of those backing out of a space in a lot while you watch. They have 8' more space to back up but they instead choose to wiggle back and forth 5 times to get out). So, understanding that not all can master these skills, I think these sensors are a great idea. It helps (although doesn't eliminate) them from backing into you b/c they didn't know how close they were (or as my Grandpa used to say, the "bump" method - the oldest form of back-up sensor).

If you're able to drive and park this beast in Europe I salute you. You are very brave!

Well I may be in the minority, but I actually like the look of sensors :P I think it'd be cooler if they made em with more of a stud shape and chromed em or accessorized em somehow to make it more unique. I'd like to see something which might look more like it came out of a Mad Max movie or something.
And no I don't have any sensors... nor do I enjoy the irritating beeping. |
