I saw several cars with this mod only a couple of weeks ago at a Camaro car show held at a Chevy dealer local to me. So it's clearly not a Houston-only thing. Norm

Unless it's a Lambo, I agree.

Lambo doors are like the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees, no real middle ground. You either love them or hate them.

Not all mod's are for everybody... I enjoy seeing other people's mod's and talking to them about it. If don't care for a specific mod I'm not going to insult the person. I love performance mod's as well.... cam, headers, superchargers but some people don't like that either. I say enjoy your car and don't be jerk and judgemental about the choices others make.

The major reason why I havn't done it, the kits I have seen require cutting into the fender (inside where the door hinge is) and I just don't want to cut into the car to make a door work.

The only time I saw a Lambo door that made sense was an Aston Martin where the Driver was paralyzed and that allowed him to get closer to the car with his wheelchair. He had a cool electro-mechanical gizmo to pick up the wheelchair and put it in the rear seat.

I can't think of any pros to Lambo doors conversions. Maybe tight parking spots.

The one nice thing about lambo kits is that you can use the door in the normal fashion everyday. Then at shows you can tilt it up. You don't have to tilt it to use the door.

Unless you are parking next to another Camaro that statement isn't correct. I park next to my bosses truck all the time, he can fully open his door, I cannot without touching his truck.

You are correct (unless the car next to you has longer doors than a Camaro, but I get your point). It is just my rule of thumb. I stand partially corrected.
