All due respect, but you do realize that thing is going to blow apart dont you? I mean you are hitting it with a decent amount of boost, shooting it with nitrous and all on stock internals.

Not only this, but you havent done anything to hold the top end together - No double springs? Retainers? The top end is probably the weakest link and most likely you are going to have your first failure in the valvetrain.

All I can say is you are playing with fire here - I hope someone has money in thier budget for a long block when that one blows apart.

I can tell you might be new to this game. 700rwhp is big for these new Camaro's but not new to the LS3 market.A well thought out and put together car like they did here can easilly last a long time at this power level. Can't say the same for the driveline though. There are many 700rwhp Vette's out running stock motors and have been for many years.

Great job guy's. Can't wait to get our shop car and see if it will hold 14-16lbs out of a F1..

I am fairly new to the LS3 scene - but I have had late model vettes and camaros over the years as well as a 427 COPO first gen.

Despite what you say - I am going to have to disagree with you that this is a safe setup. Yes, the block with hold up, the rods should be ok, but forcing 400 more hp out of an engine that was designed and engineered to handle the stress of 426hp will just not be safe. Not only this, but it is a bone stock valvetrain and no cam - to achieve these numbers on that setup just will never be safe and it WILL blow apart. Something is going to let go - whether it be floating a few valves and stuffing them into a piston, a piston developing cracks and later splitting apart or just a complete failure of the lower end. This is why they make forged parts - to be able to handle the stress of the boost and shots of nitrous. Lucky for these guys - they are going to break alot of other stuff in the drivetrain before the motor decides to blow apart.

I agree, anything can happen.Throughout the years I've seen alot of Magnacharged Vette's blow ringlands from a setup garrentied to last a long time.Even some built by LPE.So,there is no garrenty.

My personal Vette ran 12lbs of boost on the stock motor for 3 years and many 1/4 passes with barely any maintanence.

Also, forged parts don't give 100% garrenties on not having a motor come apart.Hell, even stock motors can blow with people driving them normally all the time.

I say push it some more.

Someone needs to push the button until it blows apart - will be sweet to see the upper limits of this stock internals.

We have already seen someone break drivetrain parts in the 600-700hp range. Now lets see someones rotating mass punch a hole through the side of the block under the force of 15psi boost and a nice shot of laughing gas.

Heck...At this point go ahead and put about 90-95% Nitromethane in the tank! Let's see some real numbers.

Peace

Was that a stock clutch?????????? If so, that is even more impressive than the internals staying together IMO.
700HP on a stock clutch is just insane!!!!!!!!

I'm curious to see what it can do. But putting numbers down on a dyno and running the car on the street, are two different things...
