Well browsing the internet one day I come across a 15 2SS RS 1LE and I thought oh what the heck I should go drive it and just see how it is, honestly thinking in my head it won't hold a candle to the 16GT I have on order. Well long story short... at first start up of the 1LE with the NPP Exhaust I was sold. The Camaro just feels more like a sprts car to me with the raked windshield and small windows. Just feels like you are looking out of a rocket ship. After driving the 1LE I thought I was just too impatient about waiting for my Mustang and needed to fulfill the itch right then and then. I left the Chevy Dealer and proceeded across the street to the Ford Dealer and drove a 16GT PP back to back with the Camaro. For me personally there wasn't even a comparison. The Mustang is a great car, don't get me wrong, but the best way I can describe it is refined. The Camaro is raw and connected where as the mustang is more civil and quiet. If I were to daily drive the car I probably would have stuck with the mustang but since the purchase was for a weekend toy car I had to go with the Camaro. I love it! I haven't even looked at a mustang since and while I still respect and love the mustang the Camaro was a clear cut winner for me. Good luck in your decision as I know how easy it is to always second guess a decision but just go with what puts the bigger smile on your face. I know I did.
I might feel the same way! I'll hop in an SS as soon as I can and take it for a spin. The visibility thing is probably going to suck but damn it looks cool with the small windows.

camaro is a way better car in every single way..
6.2 litre motor sounds way better than a 5 litre...deep baratone rumble that a smaller engine cant give you.
that lump of steel they call suspension surely is enough to put you off owning one..
ofc the 2015 mustang is a different animal..i hate the looks of it though..

My only advice is to test them yourself and don't worry about what other people or magazines have to say. You're the one who will be behind the wheel, so in the end it has to be your call.

Also, the 4.6 isn't so bad. I happen to love mine.
You've got a termi Cobra, so yeah you have an awesome 4.6. People are known to take those past 800-900 rwhp on the stock motor. The rest of us have the garbage cast rods and pistons lol. Would it have really killed Ford to put the good stuff in all of them? Couldn't have been that much more expensive.

Yeah, I really don't like the sound of the 5.0. The old 4.6 sounded much much better. With a good exhaust setup, it's probably my favorite exhaust note on the planet. The 6.2 sounds like a monster, I agree! I don't like the 2015 Mustang's looks either. They ruined it. 2013-2014 looked good.

I love the Camaro looks and the feel when I drive it! It's like driving a race car around the curves.

When I bought mine I test drove 4. The Challenger, Charger, Mustang and Camaro.

I Did not care for the Challenger, I really liked the fit and feel of the Charger. The Mustang felt "Fun" but I wasn't sold on the interior. Then I drove the Camaro but did not fit with a sunroof. I was about to buy the Charger when the wife suggested try one without a sunroof. She heard they were more headroom. I said yeah whatever but I did listen to her and she was right. I've never looked back. Some mods here and there and I love this car.

6.2L in Gen VI and C7 is also called LT1. 450HP direct injected.

It's a 2003 Mach 1 (it's a 32 valve DOHC, not 16 valve SOHC like the GT) with a Procharger making 448 rwhp. Only 27k miles. I don't have to sell it or anything, it's running great but lately I've had thoughts about just getting something newer.

I LOVE my Mach 1, it's a beast but it's really at about it's safe limit without digging into the motor and it's just not worth it on a 12 year old car. Both the new 'stang and Camaro motors have so much more potential than the old 4.6. Even as it stands, pushing this much power through it makes me nervous every time I get on it. I've got an awesome tune, and it's probably going to last a long time but it's still hard not to worry about a rod ventilating my block.

So I guess the reason I'm here is to see if I can be swayed over to the DARK SIDE instead of getting another Mustang. Obviously you guys prefer Chevy. What is it about the 5th gen Camaro that makes you guys take it over the Mustang 5.0? As far as looks go, they're about a wash for me. I like 'em both.

That does look pretty damn good next to the Mustangs actually. I always thought the new edge Mustangs looked the best by far when they were done right. My Mach 1:

Yeah I was sometimes catching dudes looking in the car at the shopping mall and their wive's standing with their arms crossed looking impatient while they did it. My mom also likes my car and my girlfriend too... My ex-wife calls it my penis car!
