Again, post pics and enjoy.
Ill be anxious to see if they make a new gen ZL1. We had only had our 14 SS for 4 months as of yesterday. There was still sticky marks from the in transits on the windshield. My wife thinks I have a problem...

When we pulled in the car was sitting out shining like they painted it earlier that day. Black on Black on Black on Black. A few of the sales guys, and even the finance managers were standing around grinning. I got out looked the car over like a mail order bride! The guy that owned the car before me was one of US. He got it. The car was emaculant. Every bath had been a hand washed love bath, the tires were oiled and wet looking, the interior had been conditioned and smelled like new. I got in and about cried when my butt sank into the suede micro fiber seats. What a difference in comfort! The wheel felt confident and warm. I had my wife start the car as I paced around it, and it roared. It sounded better and louder than the Borla Attak I had put on my previous SS, which is a big plus since my 1.5 year old loves to hear the car rev. I had already done enough online research on the car and the "PTM" to earn a college credit. I was ready to do this sh*t. Everything about the car felt stronger. Breaks were very strong, steering felt NASCARISH and nimble. I pushed the pedal down about a quarter deep as soon as i hit flat pavement thinking i would get us up to the stop light before the light changed. Incorrect. Even at a quarter deep the tires began spinning and started to swing us sideways. I looked over at my wife, and she had the FML look on her face. We went for about a 20 minute drive and I have never fallen in love with a car so fast. Its incredible. I can't believe the power. Im in love with the magnetic ride, and the comfort of the seats. It looks like Darth Vader on steroids. The drive back to Lincoln was perfect. 50 degrees on December 12th, no wind, and clear roads. We took turns driving and pulled over to take pictures a few times. Im in heaven. No offense to the 16SS, but I can't believe they can call both of these cars Camaros. The ZL1 is the ultimate. Im part of TheClub! I have a ZL1!

I'm just really thankful to even own a Camaro. I really like all the models of Chevy Camaros. If you really think about it, in time camaros will always advance into newer stages of years to come. It's like technology, Camaros will always develop over time. Now a days you can get yourself a classic or an more advanced camaro, either or I'm sure there's many Camaros to choose from that will fit your needs. We all have many options to choose from. I support your decisions on your new vehicle and I wish the best for you and your desires on your new Camaro. Merry Christmas!

Having owned black cars in the past, I don't think I could deal with the dust the rest of my life, but it's so sharp when clean. Congrats!

It's a tough "feeling" to explain the brashness (in comparison) of the street-bruiser ZL1 vs the rest of the pack in words. But I think you did a great job.

Screw all the techie crap on the cars anyway. You cannot connect your heart to a car with Bluetooth or a usb cable. Do it wirelessly like it's always been. You only really connect to your car through operating the steering wheel, shifter, and gas pedal- with just a hint of burnt rubber smell.

1. Im a sales manager for a window company in Lincoln Nebraska.
1.2 With a smile on my face.
2. I plan to cry until the rain stops then ruin the current set of tires on my ZL1.
3. I never thought about it, but I imagine being a writer would be a very rewarding and exciting occupation.

I really appreciate the compliment. Thanks for taking the time to say something nice. Its much easier to keep scrolling. I just sent you a digital fist bump.

When it comes to black vehicles the struggle is real! I have a black truck, black jeep, and now a black ZL1. Last I counted I own 3700 micro-fiber towels. I insist on my vehicles looking brand-new at all times, and thats about impossible when you go black. As far as the "techie crap" I think you made some great points. If my wife Tahoe has a DVD player and some fun iPod gadgets so be it. However comma when it comes to getting into a muscle car the only thing I wanna hear is exhaust, and women screaming.

Wow , in my field we sometimes have to find fire rated windows that comply with the local building code
At some point we order those windows from some place in the Midwest , and I'm thinking Lincoln Nbraska , it may very well be from your place
Those windows where used on a job in SF CA
We all thought at the time , really , these things had to come from that far away place , I guess it did .
