If one is to enter into this endeavor, I would suggest contacting Rodney at RPM Transmissions http://www.rpmtransmissions.com/ as I am not sure of the capacity of the V6's trans. I know that RPM is more than qualified to help. Also the V6 Auto does not have a Posi rear gear! One may or may not want to upgrade the half shafts at this time also.

From Wiki;
The 6L50 is adaptable to rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive applications. It can accommodate engines with up to 332 ft·lbf (450 N·m) of torque, and vehicles with a GVWR of 5,000 lb (2,268 kg).

The AY-6 is a 6-speed manual transmission manufactured by Aisin. It is designed for longitudinal engine applications and can handle up to 345 ft·lbf (468 N·m) of torque.

List of vehicle using the AY-6, 6-speed according to information at Wikipedia;

February 2004– AY6 — 6-speed longitudinal

* Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, Cadillac CTS, Holden Commodore

The car will be running next week and calibration of the MED96 Bosch controller is not a problem, this unit has been in production as follows:

3.6L VVT V6 DI engine with Bosch controller:
• 2009 Saturn Outlook, Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse
• 2009-2010 Cadillac STS
• 2009-2010 Cadillac CTS (only on optional engine in 2009 CTS)
• 2010 Camaro

Previous testing has shown the fuel inj to be capable of supporting around 440 hp on a pressure charged HFV6 application.

Following our work on the Turbocharged 1200 hp Ecotec for John’s Sport Compact Cavalier in 2002, the HFV6 was going to be the next engine for that car. Back in 2005 Matt Hartford’s HFV6 powered Sport Compact Cavalier drag car was the quickest GM powered car and engine combination in a quarter mile at 6.52 second et.
No G8 love?:( I know, different, set-up and ECM.

Oh no, no, no! Don't say that! There is a "whole lotta lovinin" at Lingenfelter as far as the G8 goes! How about this April 2009 article in Car and Driver http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...specialty_file
This is my good friend Kevin's car! He is an awesome guy and I would encourage you to talk to him about a Rock N Roll G8!

Supercharged V6 Update

The Prototype instal was completed today and the calibration work is ongoing.
Testing with the base tune file has shown the car to be quite responsive, further tuning will be completed over the next few days.

Some video of the car will be posted tomorrow morning, it was fun too.

More details will be posted to this thread later in the week.

Best Regards

Graham
