At close to 48K+ for a Trail Boss Diesel, imagine what a ZR2 would cost? I get the argument that folks will buy because they want the size (over a full) regardless of the cost but at some point it gets ridiculous. I'm holding out to see what's introduced nonetheless. The Camaro is paid off

This is a sema pre runner build. This truck would be 100k or more by the the time a new shop owner built this truck. Only thing stock is the cab.

Don't get me wrong, the Trail Boss package looks amazing but for over 7k, I'd rather just powdercoat the stock wheels and get aftermarket rock sliders and a real roll bar for FAR less than what that package costs.

Maybe they're waiting for the new Ranger to come out to unveil it?

State Fair of Texas is usually a truck reveal event. If not that and ruling out a private reveal event, next up would be LA in November.

It's not like you can go wrong with choosing a Raptor.

Lifted this from Fen but in case you aren't looking at the other threads:

http://www.autonews.com/article/2016...ved-crossovers

Quote:
Colorado/Canyon: Expect an off-road ZR2 Colorado to debut in 2017. A freshening of the pickups is slated for 2018. They could get an eight-speed transmission at that point, if not sooner. A redesign of the Colorado and Canyon isn't likely until 2022 or later.

I had a 2014 Raptor, so I want to try the zr2 this time. My patience is limited though. The Raptor order guide came out today.....
