Pictures and a cruise on the west coast is definitely going to happen. I have a great place to end the cruise with a BBQ/Pool Party as well as a place to park some 13 or more cars for Pictures. Maybe even use the neighbor's driveway as well. =)

Here's my plan:

If the good Lord sees to it that NC should have beautiful weather, the first place the wife and I are going to is my parents' house. I'll pick up my mom and dad and take them for a ride (and yes, the fan will be trimming my toenails). Then I'll take them back so Dad can get his 68 Camaro out of the garage and we're going to cruise together.

Sooooo Do most of you plan on test driving one before you buy?

I think i wont, I think it would be more fun to show up at the dealership.... Look at them, decide which one i want, Start it up (hear the rumble) and test drive it for the first time knowing its mine and i will soon be taking it home..

Thinking bout that just gets me toooooooooooooooo excited..... i need to calm down. 2009 yet???????????????????????????/

I'm gonna go with a real shocker here. After test sitting the Bullitt Mustang yesterday I'm gonna have to be honest and say that before I decide anything about the Camaro I'm going to test drive a current generation Mustang and the Camaro as well. I was planning on test driving the Camaro before buying it in any case, but I just want to make sure I buy the car that works for me.

And no this does not mean I've converted, it means I thought the Bullitt Mustang was very nice. I hope and expect the new Camaro to be better.

I don't even need a test drive. I'm not planning on a test drive; I just want to order my car, pick it up from the entity who can give it to me the earliest (i.e. if I could order it and pick it up from the factory, I'd be so down for that; if it's the dealer, obviously, pick it up form the dealer) and make that my first actual drive. I DO want to test fit the car and get into a bunch to see what option content I'm interested in, but I want to do all my GMPP accessories and parts ordering at the same time as the car so it'll be a mod' fest as soon as I get her home
