Well if I were the person that "sold" the car my next step would be to report it stolen.

I hope this girl doesn't live close to me! Hahaha anyway that sucks for your friend. So basically all they have is a v6 and a contract that says the guy will send them the title in the mail? They gave 35,000 for that. Are they rich? Just to give that away

Um I'm not exactly sure they're "rich" just dumb with their money. He's got family with a lot of money. She's my friend but not like a best friend or anything so we don't talk about money. We don't even talk about cars she just likes camaros for the looks or whatever.

Park the car, get a attorney and show the ad that they still have. The sale is not final until the title is actually signed. Let's hope the seller does not flee to Mexico.

They don't deserve a penny back. If your so stupid as to not check out a used car, plus not know what a zl1 vs a base v6...then they got what they deserved.

I am sorry either the story is BS, the guy selling the car is one lucky sob to have found two bafoons like this, or just simply wow.

The story is based off what she told Me so she could be holding truth or she's telling the complete truth and she's just got screwed.

Well insurance will be cheaper for the V6. And I hope they take the car somewhere professional for service work. So, the first oil change, do I add 8 quarts, I see that you have a ZL1!

Ok let me think this through.... After all this I still go back to my stement that this story is all bs. I actually can't even understand why the OP had to even post to ask questions....

So we have a dumb girl. Then a dumb boyfriend.... And to top it all off someone that had to ask if there was anything that could be done... And... The place the came.to first was a message board...
