Take it easy on me! Still trying to get used to this. Ummmm... First time caller, long time listener. Just trying to gather as much information as I can and possibly do a turbo/supercharger build at the end of the year. 'That' close to pulling the trigger on the (JacFab) forged rods. For now, I need some rest. Gotta prove to my employer that I'm faster than the new steam drill they got; even if it kills me.

My apologies. I should probably explain my forum name/background a little more. I am a laborer, welder, and, machine oper. for the railroad. 'Henry's Clone' is simply a reference to John Henry. There's probably a place in my profile to post this info, but I don't have time to look for it and to be honest; I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Also...anyone near Sarasota or Tampa with an LFX Camaro???? :-)

I wonder if there is a way to get different motor mounts to move the engine lower in the bay so a copo hood wouldn't be needed?

It does especially on the 10-13 cars with the heritage grille! However my build is geared towards the road course and a z/28 style look so it would kinda mess that up for me. If the company could also make motor mounts low enough to mount with the stock hood it could be a a easy sell. Most people don't wanna buy a copo hood and get it painted plus all the cost of the supercharger. But there will be those who do and that's great!

I am very interested in this! I have a ZL1 hood on mine and I do not think the hood is much higher than stock, probably the same so I guess it would not fit.
Luckily I kept my stock hood and I would cut that thing up! Or maybe I could cut up the carbon fiber piece and make it look nice I would be down for that.

which hood is like the COPO hood but less rounded. The edges of the cowl are sharper but the rise is more gradual
