Would it be easier if I just got someone to do it? I have no past experience doing this kind of stuff. And I really dont wanna mess it up!

East way to strip off the chrome, Easy-off spray oven cleaner. Spay it on and ait 15-20 minutes and the chrome is off. No sanding! (unless you want to)

I was not really concerned with getting the chrome off...I was sanding to ensure that I was creating a surface the primer/paint could adhere well to. Even if I stripped off the chrome first, I would still rough up the plastic.

If you feel you cant do this on your own, then pay someone else to do it. Sanding and painting an object is not as hard as it seems and with DIY instructions posted up it should be a breeze and you'll save a grip of money.

If you're not comfortable doing this...I would suggest going to an autobody shop. They'll be glad to help you and and make your wallet a little lighter in the process.

I'm in the middle of doing mine ... Great idea! Would of done it sooner but was waiting on prices for Carbon Fiber ones and found out the price at $550 for the set of 4 and almost went through the roof!! Now I'm saving all that money and will probably look better!!

so hard to choose, flat black or gloss black. Whats your opinion guys, car is IOM with CGM stripes, going to be getting wheels painted gloss black, should i go with gloss black bezels or flat black?
