Moving around in traffic is fine, but you can definitely feel the float I was referring to. It's less noticeable with a 20" DR, but very noticeable in a 18". Last year I drove mine to work a few times with 18" DR's and it wasn't bad at all.

Now I have changed to the MT ET Street S/S last week - took that same ramp yesterday and noticed that the rear wobbled and then the stability nannies came on with the dashboard indicator light on slowing down my rate of speed. So, yeah - with the MT's - you get better traction/hook but loose some of the higher speed handling capabilities....in my experience so far.

I do not take corners hard on local streets, so I can't comment on that...but I assume the same.

Got cha. That doesn't seem too fun lol

Its not a comfortable feeling on the freeway at all. I literally pulled over twice on the way to the track to make sure the lugs were torqued down....THAT kind of uncomfortable lol.
Yeah that sounds terrible Man I wish there was a tire like the MPSS for cornering that also could hook like the MT et street ss. Let's develop one and become rich lmao

The main issue is the sidewall on the tires. DRs will have a softer sidewall which is not very good for cornering. Going to a 20" will get rid of some of the sidewall flex but may not hook at well as a 17" or 18" on the strip.

Would be nice if we saw some more pics of budget setups like C5Z or C6Z wheels with DRs.

I daily on a 305/45R18 mt et street and for just getting arond town its fine. If you like to zip around town like a jackass than it may not be up to the task of taking hard turns and splittig through cars. But getting from point a to point b it is fine. Been caught in the rain a lot, just slow down and no sharp turns again you will be fine
