Being an cop nothing wrong with camaro traffic cars. Nothing worse than trying to pull out from a dead stop on side of the interstate and try to merge in traffic to catch some perp doing like 30 mph over. But I will have to say those wheels on the camaro were way out of line. No way this is a seizure car because they haven't been out long enough. Would take at least six months to seize one. But could of been seizure money though. Seized money can only be used to purchase equipment. Most likely then seized money. Nice ride though.

A lot of times the State has to spend the money or loose it for the next year. A lot of cities and counties are the same way... Use it or loose it for the next budget year.... It sux but that's the way it is.....

Nice looking cruiser!!! I would love to patrol in one.

Lawdog....they have not been out too short of time to be confiscated vehicles. We have two already. One is going to Police Auction. The other is gonna be used as a pc car. The one going to auction has less than 200 miles on it.

Nice car, but its BS that the state can afford to buy this car with The added options but the state employees are getting furlows and seeing as how i just graduated from college and cant find a job along with the rest of my class it kinda makes me hate this state even more.

And its TOTAL BS that a state car does not have to have the front plate but the rest of us do.

I hate this state.

I am fine with a 1SS, no rims,RS,or IO interior. Really though, you cant out run the radio. Not too many places to get away on the AC expressway if you run. To say it doesnt matter for the 1$ extra per family, thats absurd and I think you've forgotten who you serve. Add that 1$ to all of the other "its only 1$" tax increases and you get a big number. You tell me why you need the rs,io int,2 instead of 1 SS, and 21" rims? Absurd and greedy. I had to draw the line on the rims. I couldnt afford them on my 2SS. Maybe if my property taxes werent 7k a year in a 200k house I could afford the 21's too.

Ridiculous at best. I respect the police, have no qualms with them. I'm glad my area still has some financially responsible public employees, granted not many though. I have yet to read here a valid reason why this is needed. And don't give me this crap that it was confiscated and cost nothing. The cost is what it would have brought at auction. Maybe this isn't true in NJ, because they have so much stolen!!!! Good go NJ, this will make a BIG impact on speeders, hehe yea right. It may just cause more accidents, with all those that rubber neck at the new Camaro. Hey look honey a Camaro police cruiser!!!! Where???....screech! I can see it now. Just kidding, but oh so possible.
