Wow I just ordered my snow tires/wheels today too... one full year after I ordered my baby... I guess October 13 is my new favorite day to order stuff

I missed the opening day, but got mine ordered on October 15th 2008 and took delivery on Friday June 12th 2009. The wait was a killer, but I don't regret it at all. Loving the car and like other people have said, you feel like a rock star when you're driving it. Came out of the grocery store the other night and caught some people taking pictures of it. Funny how its still such a hot item and all the looks I still get etc.... Loving it!

I drug my feet for awhile thinking, "One day I'll order one". Well, May 1st became that "one day" and 97 days later (Aug. 5th) I drove her off the lot! I smile everytime I look at it in my garage and think out loud, "I can not believe that THIS 2010 Camaro is actually mine-sitting here in MY garage. I'm truly blessed to own one.

i think its funny how people here are so into calling their cars their baby and remembering the day they could order them. lol

It hasn't been going so well for me. I Ordered mine 1 year ago from the 23rd. And i STILL DON'T HAVE IT. It does get built on the 19th, so it will be over 365 days of waiting too get happy feelings from sitting in it. :P

I put my deposit down on APRIL 1, 2008 (my dad's birthday...a 40 year GM employee)...a full 6 months before my order date of October 13, 2008.

I WANTED THIS CAR. NO REGRETS. Car #7992

It is a joy to drive. This may seem "corny" but I still look out into my garage every night, before I go to bed, and shake my head. I'm a lucky man. I love owning this car.

Sounds funny that alot of people stating that it does not seem like a year since they ordered. Time surely has flown, but seemed to drag while waiting for this awesome car, ain't life funny that way. Guess it should teach us not to wish our life away. I have had Dr Jkel since July 1 and it has been a blast, took a little ride last night and let him breathe a little, kinda of a cool evening, windows down, radio thumping, exhaust roaring. LIFE IS GOOD.

I remember begging my wife to hurry up and get out of bed...We both had the day off and I wanted to be the first to the dealership.

When we finally got there, at 10:00 AM, I was nervous and excited. As with most of us, I knew more about the car from this and other sites than the Sales Manager did. I feft with an order number and a promise.

Mine was finally built on May 1, 2009 and unfortunatly was not delivered until June 17, 2009. I got it the day before my family's annual trip to the Outter Banks of NC.

QC Hold was tough but overall, I love My Camaro and am happy I waited for it.

I remember it like it was yesterday, i had a well paying job.... i had a girlfriend... i was happy! ... this year has been a crappy year... but atleast I still have my camaro

i remember the day,but i did not order til dec.19,08'..i originally ordered the aqua blue but changed to the iom,glad i did,not to say the aqua looks bad,but it just is'nt me,mine was built exactly 6 months to the day of order,built june 19,09',took delivery on july 2nd.i like probably most others changed some options due to some of the options holding the car up from being built,i had to take off the eng.cvr. and the hurst shifter then it began to progress through the line,and it was well worth the wait,still loving it,dont want to get out of it,had it about 3 1/2 months and just under 4000 miles,its my dd,i live about a mile and a half from work...still have alot of people taking pictures of her,so far i believe that g.m. got this car right!...i have the 2ss/rs 6sp.man.,and my wife loves to drive it,she just has'nt had much time behind the wheel yet,

i ordered mine 0ct-13th sat outside the dealer so i cld get the #1 spot. lol

Where the heck has a year went? It's hard to believe. I actually ordered mine on the 20th (10-20-08) and was the 4th on the list at my dealer. Accepted 4-16-09 and picked it up 6-30-09. Still walk out to the garage to look at it.
