Lots of idiot posts in here. Some of you aparently have never been outside the United States or have no clue at all about the UAE. I have been there several times and will be there in 2 weeks. I have been working in Iraq for over 6 years also and some of these comments are completely idiotic.

I don't agree with the whole people see cops in crap and expect crap. If cops cared about their job and performed well, that should satisfy the public trust. Their cars don't have to be junkers, but rather practical. High performance sports cars do not satisfy this requirement. Are you seriously saying that U.A.E. is a poor country?? If so you should really research something before you comment, they are far from poor. They export oil and natural gas for crying out loud. I have been there, I have seen the vehicles on the roads, lambo's, ferrari's, i even saw a freaking mcclaron on a show room floor there. They have a mall, with a INDOOR SKI SLOPE, they are building inslands in the shape of objects and building hotels, resorts, houses on them for tourism, because they are running out of oil and natural gas, they know this, so they are focusing on tourism. UAE is a hot travel location for alot of wealthy europeans. they are far from poor, I assure you...but hey if you weren't implying that, sorry LOL

Having lived in the UAE for a time, I can tell you the camaro is without a doubt one of the slower cars in that country. An country which is in no way a poor country. This coutry is in the middle of the desert and has an indoor ski slope for heaven's sake. These people import grass and trees to put down over the sand and build their mansions on...with full watering systems to keep it healthy. We are talking acres of land here. Feraris, Aston Martins and such are common place over there. Some people are underestimating the wealth of the country and overestimating the camaro's status for them as well.

I was implying about their people. I'm sure Saudi Arabia is a wealthy country but does little for it's people. Of course UAE have money and AD has weathly citizens but no, that wasn't what I was implying. Thanks.

Didnt quite get what you are saying. SA and UAE are very different coutries. Neighbours but hard to compare. If you are saying UAE does nothing for its people, how does job priority for a UAE national vs expat(with a higher pay too) and a free plots of land for each citizen to build a house on sound to you? thats far from nothing. Nice catch SS camaros only come in one spec. being the 2ss/rs with sunroof polished wheels and everything standard except onstar(no service here) GFX and teh 21" wheels

correction: Dubai and AD are both different emirates(states) in the UAE, AD being the capital.(just wanting to make things clear)
