Way over in Eastern IA?? how bout someplace a little more centralized.....like DesMoines. A coworkers son is the Parts Manager at Karl Chevy there....perhaps we could have it there??

and irregardless of location, the 28th works better for me

well i guess its not going to happen again this year. i wanted to do it, but im not going to put it together with 1 or 2 coming not worth the time. rather just meet somewhere for a bit and call it a day. if someone else wants to try, go for it i will make it work to be there.

turns out the guy at work hasn't asked his son yet....said he forgot, and to email him so he would remember....Will email him now, don't give up hope. we shall get a meet together

would be nice to be able to tell them how many of us to expect tho.

I stopped by Karl Chevy this afternoon. I have a meeting with the general manager this evening to discuss our options and plan for a meet and greet hosted by them. What I need to give them is a definate date and an estimate of how many cars and people to expect.

Alright, just got back from my meeting with Karl Chevy. They are more than willing to let us meet at their place pending approval from the big boss man aka Karl. Great park like area complete with a couple of tables and plenty of area for kids to play. Depending on numbers, we may consider a grill. Any other requests? Due to the fact that it is already the 28th of July, I gave the 28th of August as a tenetive date. Let me know what y'all think.

aug 28 sounds great! u know this is iowa-build it and they will come!-corny enuf!!! serious though if u get this going i'm in, will need a big word of mouth campaign.

I'm taking a road trip to Cedar Falls towards the beginning of September and I'd go earlier to stop by if an out-of-stater like me would be welcome
