That engine in that car is like putting Megan Fox in a housecoat.

Who really cares what the engine looks like? I care about what it does. DOHC Hemi/ whatever, how does it run?

The engine covers are for all the BMW people jumping ship to the new hot car so they dont actually have to look at the engine. True enthusiasts could give two ships about engine covers ect ect. How many people have tossed their camaro covers already?

That 5.0 doesn't look so hot when it's naked.

nobody sees underneath my hood anyway so it's a non-issue. i even gutted the trunk in my current car to save weight because i never use the trunk anyway. the only thing i care about that anybody else will ever see is the interior. everything else is fair game for weight savings

It's all about the engine cover in this case...

Look at the LS3 in the corvette. It's as nice as the one on the 5.0 that is in these pictures. The one on the Camaro is not as fancy as either of them. What's under the engine cover is what counts.

Well that is sort of the point now. The new 5.0 IS a nice engine. Should be interesting to see how it responds later with the mods. Also more to a car besides a engine. With the other refinements, the stang should do quite well for itself.

Exactly i absolutely hate the fog lights on the grille the Gt should have the fog lights on the bottom fascia and the v6 should have the gt lights

Follow up to my earlier post: today I was behind a 2010 Mustang, and it really did very little for me. I do like the looks of the new model, but not in a very passionate way. It looks very nice, but I just don't lust over it. Emotionally, it might as well be a Camaccord. Shortly after encountering the Mustang, I came across two Camaros. They were silver and black, two of my least favorite colors (or really non-colors) and they still managed to thrill me. I'm really hoping GM takes the 2011 Mustangs as a challenge and improves the Camaro even further to compete on performance while still dominating on looks and emotion.
