Mine has the sound tube, and I see no reason to remove it. Today's cars are too quiet as it is, especially a muscle car.



What is the point of removal? Can't be for weight savings.

I took mine off the other day. Funny thing is I think there is more intake noise without it vs having it.
What baffles me is the insane size of bolts they used to hold a little rubber hose

Keep it - the car is even more impressive to the "uninitiated" with windows down and in traffic. Sounds so loud I thought, "How did Chevy get this past the DMV?"
I'm talking about the NPP in Track mode.
