Well here we are back home after a long day in Massachusetts for tuning.
We had a issue with the supercharger. The headunit is making an unfamiliar noise. After phone calls to ECS, and listening to other ECS kits on YouTube it was decided to go ahead with the tune since the kit is under warranty.

I will have to drive the car to ECS Monday and have them further evaluate it. We don't know if it's a normal noise from this kit or not.

Having said that.... the tuner did a conservative tune which put down 597whp and over 520 torque on a mustang dyno. Allowing for dynojet adjustment and calculated crank hp is in the neighborhood of 700-800.

Boost was also limited to 8.7psi.

If ECS gives the green light, the car will get retuned. Possibly with a smaller restrictor plate to allow a couple more pounds of boost. If ECS says head unit no good I'll have see if they will exchange it for me.

We are reserved a spot at Atco on Thursday so hopefully we still get to go.
Now impressions were as follows and unanimous among myself, the builder. And the tuner. THIS CAR IS A BAD BITCH!!! The power is exceptional. The hook up is true. The converter stall is wicked. Even with the converter, the cam tries to break through in street manners. LOUDNESS!! Among the tuner and shop guys, they said it's one of the loudest cars they have ever tuned. It was so loud it drove people outside the building lol.
I'll post the dyno sheet and get more info out after I sleep a few hours. Left at 9am and got home at 1am! Long day.

Not the best pics the printer seems to printing very lightly. But here's what I got. You can see the tuner kept it under 6500rpm to be safe.

The SS2 VVT cam is designed to work well with centrifical superchargers without needing a special grind.
