Hey Tac, you are a little young for the green colors of yesteryear. This green looks like the "candy apple green" plus you could get the first gen Camaros in forest green, I had one, but you are half right, you eather like it or you don't. Let me know when you get your first car and what color you get.

thanks for posting the pics, yah I was hoping for a dark green too . . . and I don't really want the ground effects, big spoiler, stipes; too flashy for my tastes . . . but Camaro Scotty says the color will be available without all the accessories, but I'm not sure exactly what the "special edition" will include

it was in a PM; he said the accessories shown in the pics are just examples of future stuff that will be available; I'm not clear on the actual "special edition" configuration right now, probably because it hasn't actually been released yet

Buy it I guess, if you REEAAALLLYY like green and feel ok with all the restrictions.

Go to chevy.com and check out the price of a 1LT. That's what you should pay. If they want you to pay more because it is 'sooo limited' tell them where to go.

Not saying that Camaro Scotty is wrong, but I know with Scion, when they release special color editions of their cars (they have done it like 12 times already) they are VERY limited and never offered again...

The configuration on the "limited edition" Synergy Green Camaro HAS been released. I think Camaro Scotty even had a thread about it (the high wing spoiler and performance brakes didnt make it to production that were shown at SEMA), but we know for sure the other stuff. I actually had a local dealership forward me an email from corporate:

Chevrolet will be offering a limited, special edition Camaro model based on the Camaro Synergy concept model displayed at this year‘s SEMA show.

•This limited, special edition model will be a 1LT (V6) model and include:

-Synergy Green Exterior with Cyber Gray Rally Stripes
-19‖ Painted Aluminum Wheel
-Rear SS/RS spoiler
-Black cloth interior with Synergy Green inserts in the door and instrument panels and green accent stitching.
-Standard Convenience and Connectivity package.

•Order acceptance is scheduled to start on Thursday, January 14, 2009.
