40 wheel from a cam and heads seems UBER low to me...

Yeah my wife hated my car after the cam. But lately she's been driving it a lot more and the other day I let her take it too the bank and I asked her how did it run. She said it was fine why? I told her because you said you didn't like the jerking in gear and pushing through the brakes at a stop. She said it was fine. So now I think she secretly likes it now after getting to drive it a few times. So maybe now she'll let me mod some more.

Used the LS2 dog bone tensioner, I believe it is referred to as...

lol, that's cool. Be careful she doesn't like it TOO much and won't let you drive it anymore because SHE wants to drive it!! hehe. Seen that before. Oh, and on another note, with the wanting to "push" through the brakes when at a stop, just do what I have done for ever, put it in neutral while sitting. Mine doesn't "push" but I still put it in neutral to take the pressure off the clutches while sitting still.. Works for me..

Oh absolutely. The only thing staying is the block, the crank, and the pistons. 2.9L Whipple is part of a complete new build.

Most people that have issues that ive noticed here over the years are....they did it themselves and have issues.....they didnt use a reputable shop.....or they cheaped out on supporting mods and finally their tube is junk. Do it right the first time and that includes aconverter. I never understood why guys stick with a stock converter...it may work but its not the best option. 95 whp with heads and cam for me 370 whp to 465 whp. And I dont regret it at all. Nothing sounds better then a well setup LS with longtubes and Corsa.

$$$ is the only reason I am still running a stock convertor. You can bet that is the next thing going in.

Right on point sir!! And YES, get a converter!!! And don't go too small there either... Ask me how I know.. lol.
