NO! Not after what happened to my cousin when she let her sister take her truck. She totaled it out on prom night. I'm strict as it is about letting people drive my car so prom night is definitely definitely out of the question. I was asked to use it for Homecoming if it came in. Thank goodness I didn't have to break some queen's heart because mine came in AFTER Homecoming.

Sorry, but nobody drives my car except ME and my HUSBAND!!!...

I have the signed litho from Mike Judge with my VIN...

I paid less for mine new than I would for a replacement because of the 'pre-order' price...

I don't even know if I could get a replacement right away either...

I also bought mine from my dealer/friend in Virginia that I used to work with when he lived here in NY, and that makes it even more special to me...

My car is not replaceable...end of story...

We just had this argument the other day...

I told him that other forum members feel the same way I do, and his response was, "If anything happens to it, you can just get another one"...

Can you even believe he said that to ME???!!!...

And, he's a real 'car guy' too...I guess he feels that I don't trust his driving skills and I said it had nothing at all to do with that...kids just don't 'get it' sometimes...

My question is how is everyone gonna answer if a kid asks to drive your car to prom. I have a lot of friends who are seniors in high school and I already drove the homecoming queen during Homecoming back in the fall.
I just don't know if I want someone driving my car, even if it's only for a few blocks.

NO-ONE DRIVES MY SS BUT ME! If someone asks to drive or borrow your car, someone is going to get upset. It can be you when you hear the sentence that starts with; "It wasn't my fault" or it can be the other person when they hear; "Not only NO, HELL NO". Giving a high school senior or junior a high performance car to drink in while going to the prom is like handing them a loaded 357 magnum and telling them to play Russian Roulette.
