I've never had a speeding ticket. I'd really prefer that not change just because I have a Camaro.

BTW, I bought a "no drill" front plate bracket for my car because I don't want the cops to find any good reason to pull me over. It really was easy to put on the car (it uses existing bolts under the facia) and doesn't look too bad. I can take it off anytime with not a mark on the car.

i havent been bothered about a front plate yet. cops in NJ really dont care unless they really want to be a-holes. my theory is that they are too busy looking at the camaro to notice no front plate lol.

I may hold the record here. I got pulled over on the way home from the dealership.
100 in a 60
Going that fast you have no other option but to pay the ticket.

I am from Dallas, living in Arkansas, which does not require a front plate, what I did was went to walmart and got a suction cup and hook kit, I think for bathroom stuff, I pulled the hooks off and put the suction cup fronts through the license plate holes, when I went to texas I put it in my window up front bottom on passenger side, didnt get messed with.

As for my first ticket, I have traffic court in the morning, got a following too closely by a state trooper who was very rude to me, I was doing 45 in rush hour at the time too. Its worth it to fight it in my opinion because I have not had a ticket or accident in over 5 years, which gives me a discount on insurance...In Arkansas the only way to keep it off my record it seems is to do defensive driving, which than gives me a 1 year probationary period for any moving violation...F that...I like Texas better DD to take it off or deferred adjudication, 3 month probation

got my first ticket in March. CHP clocked me doing 97 in a 55... doh! he laughed at my plates and wrote me a ticket for 10 over. whew! thank God for that. Appearently they can take you to jail (inpound your car etc) for anything 20 over.. i figured i'd just pay the fine, (i was speeding) and go to traffic school... $300 later its off my record
