Hopefully I made a somewhat smart choice on getting it ported.

Too late for that Joe, it’s already done. You will like it. We always want more HP. It’s a addiction that takes control of us. I’m selling parts and saving for a 2650 now, do i need it NO. Do i want it yes. It never ends.

LoL yeah I know, just looking for reinsurance. I have been researching heads this morning lol but I think I'll hold off on those.

There's really no negative to porting the supercharger. Its increasing efficiency at the very least. You want to track your car so spinning the blower slower, being able to make a boost number is exactly what you need. Less heat the better.

But Tartagliazl1 is exactly right. HP is an addiction, do we need it no but we definitely want kt. Its better to set up now for an inevitable want rather than having to pull the blower back off, having the car down and installing it all over again.

Ill say with cylinder heads, its hard to beat ported LS3 or LSA. You can go all out and do a 6 bolt head. Brodix, AFR, Frankenstein, TSP, Mast. I have FED M311s. But again I knew I was eventually going to buy a 6 bolt block. I just didnt know if I wanted an aluminum sleeved block or iron. You only wanting 600whp, what you have going in currently will get you over that easily
