I agree, they need to get it in around 580 - 600, that would be awesome.

As far as just dropping components into an SS, maybe they can't based on what they are trying to add.

They are trying to make this thing special, which would lead to limited, so I think $55k to $60k would be right. You have groups that are out there buying performance cars that are in that range and are not vettes, so the group is there, you just want to sway them to the bowtie.

Can't wait to figure out what this is in the end.

Could this possibly be a Z28? The front looks a little different from the sketches and the picture out on the Internet...people are saying it's just a body kit...looks like a new model to me. Not an after-market camaro. Maybe Z28....

I don't think it's a firebird. But I could be wrong. I zoomed into the pictures, and it seems that there are two headlights on each side, or one headlight on each side with a turn signal, similar to the camaro. Indeed, there are two different rims. Maybe the come with a package with this car. The hood bulge looks bigger than the bulge on the camaro. And there is an awfully big spoiler on the rear. It is obviously not a sedan. The sides look similar to the camaro. So, it's either a muscle car, or a weak exotic sports car. Hopefully, new images will pop up on the Internet of this mystery car. I really wanna see what this thing is.

I doubt aftermarket would Camo Cars? If anything I bet they want it to be thought as aftermarket. No one can prove its from gm or not, well people could but won't.

There is no way this is a Firebird. That center piece is way too thin.

I love how tons of you are saying its not aftermarket and that it has to be the Z, but to make the Z look like a firebird doesn't make one bit of sense. It is possible, and that's just because almost anything is possible, that this is a gm concept car to gauge intrest in a stand alone firebird but I doubt it.
