PR....communication...information exchange...Imagine all future adults having grown up with their police officer for 10+ years! * Defenseless Newton elementary principal tried to tackle the shooter but we all know the terrible outcome... ** Let's protect our kids and staff a wee bit more...  ** We protect our money so let's protect our kids too...damn it! NRA Recomandation???
Have you read what the NRA recommanded....1 cop per school.
The idea was already found by this fondation, but they are doing it the wrong way. Cops are not soldiers, they should'nt be part of the schools violence. But Cris the basic idea is making it's way...

JUST TO BE VERY CLEAR....
OUR CANADIAN KIDKOP PROJECT IS NOT TO HAVE AN ARMED POLICE OFFICER IN EVERY CANADIAN SCHOOL FULL TIME. It's at first and foremost to narrow the gap between kids and kops on a daily basis.  Our officers need to understand kids and our kids need to understand kops. Kops have college degrees and are people too.  In a nutshell, every day all police officers stop in their school and say hi to as many peeps as possible for 15-30 minutes as part of their patrol any time during the school day.That's it ....that's all! (Too bad Sara-Maude erred by putting "temps plein" in last jan article) NOTA BENE: Our American friends have a much more major problem of protecting kids from legal assault weapons.So in the short term they need to act right away to protect their children and adults from well armed and greatly isolated young Americans who are in the thousands across the USA! Imagine the potential of friends of well armed unbalanced individuals who trust his or her police officer that they grew up with at school every day for 15-20 years.
