Two Tone

I live in LA and there is a 2SS that is silver that had his upper part of the car done with black vinyl....looks great.

And before I get yelled at I don't have any pix.

Call Sun Dimmers in Santa Clarita and ask for shawn and he will tell you how he did it.

Hello,

I had my car totally changed from Rally Yellow to Sunrise Gold, let's just say it was in the neighborhood of 10K, however, that is what you expect to pay for a professional job that is better than factory. I had an old truck that Maaco painted for me, it was about what I expected and not what I would ever subject my Camaro to. Either pony up if you have a complete color change and do it right or do a two tone from a reputable custom shop not a Maaco chain!

Thanks,

But, that being said if you paint and change colors except to pay 8-15k. Trust me I did it.
and people think it's stupid to clear bra most of the car? I'd pay less than a third that much to clear bra the entire front and sides of the car, and then I don't have to worry about rock chips or waxing again.

Given that Bumblebee is that beautiful Sunrise Gold colour, anyone know why it isn't an available colour stock? I hate the stock yellow. Looks like vomit, but the Sunrise Gold looks amazing!!!!!

In fact, it looks so good, it's probably the ONLY coloured car I'd ever buy (I'm into grays). Oh why isn't that available as a stock colour??

I already established that I know nothing about paint, and I'm not going through with it. Thanks for the contribution, though.

If you truly want to change the color, add $1600 to your budget and ship it to Body's By Doug here in Melbourne. He just finished several vettes from Colorado! His work is fantastic. He also striped my SS. http://www.autobodysbydoug.com/melbo...nter2010a.html

The only place near me that has any credibility near me is Maaco. I was looking at their "signature" paint job, which is their best, for about $2100. I don't know anything about paint, so I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. I don't want to rush into anything. Thanks in advance.
DO NOT DO THAT!!!!!

You would be better off trading yours for a black one.

There are so many reasons what that is WRONG!

Really MAACO? I don't understand how they stay in business. I wouldn't let them paint my schwinn.
