cost is 13.02 for each housing at gmpartsdirect.com...BUT they charge over 15 dollars for the shipping on the first, and about 3 dollars in shipping for the 2nd. How does that make sense? So just for grins I removed the first from my shopping cart...well now the shipping for the other was 15 dollars....I guess the shipping is how they make up the cost for their good pricing. I could get it for the same cost through my dealership paying 20 bucks a piece instead of gmpartsdirect's 13 a peice.

Maybe I'll just take a chance and paint the ones I have on my car.

There is a $15 handleing fee at GM partsdirect.

Ordering parts like these would be best if you were going to order something else along with it.

Spending $42 at the dealer would probably be best, and quicker.

Well I like my original fog benzel cause they are black unless they made black chrome, but the black camaro cover behind the SS is awesome! Anyone knows what company makes that black cover.

Sis I love that, great idea! My poor husband was in the garage laying on his back in the cold and wet scrubbing mine off for a show last weekend! The paint would solve that problem!

Those do look good but wonder how they filled them in and if it will hold up over time.

They can plate yours for you.
I just found out the cost to chrome your bezels from the above link, will cost $50 each.

This is what was in the email if anyone is interested.
"Those are $50.00 each to plate. We actually have a set in the shop right now we are doing as well as the three grilles."
"If you decide to proceed and want to ship your parts to us, please click on this link http://cvvacuumplaters.com/contact.htm which will take you to our “Contact Us” page on our website which will give you all the information you will need to send your parts to us."

I get nothing from this and I am only trying to pass along the info I received, to help fellow Camaro5 members.

We are the company who does the hydrocoating work. We do not do chrome.

Here is a link to some fancy paint you guys can use to paint your pieces just like chrome. http://www.alsacorp.com/killercans.htm
A little high, but will do a quantity of parts, not just one or two

Thanks, Roger
