I would have thought so too but that wasnt the case. I recently drove about 3 hours and still had that much water come out. I guess some evaporated during the trip so perhaps I had a lot more than that in there.

I was thinking that my mufflers were leaking... There is a great deal of carbon-black blow-back that makes a really heavy black streak on the mufflers. I really think there's something wrong as the car has less than 6,500 miles on it. I thought at first that it was road junk on the muffler bodies, but when I wiped it with a wet rag it came off much too easily to be road crap. I ran my finger through the deposit on the other one and sure enough - it's carbon-black. This is not normal in my book. The oil looks clean on the dipstick and I'm using decent gas. It's almost like the engine is running rich or something. I've scheduled service for the vehicle next week; hopefully the dealership will be able to straighten it out. = - = - = LATER: I just spotted another 2011RS that's virtually identical to mine and sure enough, there are 2 HUGE black streaks of carbon on its mufflers as well. This simply cannot be the way these cars are supposed to be working! It's one of those "WTF!" items. I'm otherwise thrilled with my car, but I sure hope this is not a harbinger of trouble to come.

The pictures of the mufflers are ONE day after scrubbing them down and having them fairly clean. Picture of exhaust tip shows carbon after recent cleaning. Last picture is of the actual drain hole.

I have had to unclog the holes several times. There seems to be some sound deadening brown stuff inside that keeps clogging the holes.

Yeah, me too... Leak = problem ---> Hole = problem. Now drain holes in mufflers?! Strange.

it is car piss, don't drink it. check under the trunk mat, maybe GM put a truck bladder in your camaro so it is able to hold out longer
