I would not consider a car with 300-400 miles on it to be a brand new car. They would have to "make me an offer I couldn't refuse" for me to buy a NEW car with that many miles on it. I'd have to get a big discount, or I'd walk. Just my personal opinion and preference.....
+1 that's exactly how I felt about it. Put aside the fact that your paying top dollar but a new car has to be broken in properly and 400 miles of test driving miles or the travel for a dealer trade is just too much for me to try and salvage that perfect break in!

And if it was used as a test driving vehicle why would they use the most expensive model? 2SS!

I've got two other deals that Im waiting on that phone call to see if the mileage is "acceptable" by that I mean under 50. I'm praying both these deals fall through so I can take a pick!

see that is only about a 20 mile trip I'd let that slide but when it comes to 100+ just put it on a flat bed. Ill try to get the dealer to go Dutch on the tow truck but if not I don't mind paying $250-$500 to get my baby here without someone elses foot on the pedal lol

Mine had 13 on it when I got it. I bought a dealer allocation before it arrived but the miles on the trip meter and the odometer are off by 4 so I think it had 4 miles when it rolled off the truck and I didn't test drive my car before I bought it.

Ordered mine-Had 7 miles when I saw it at the dealership garage prior to having them install the Borla exhaust, then 21 when it was ready. Kinda pissed me off! Also only had less than 1/4 tank

Grrrr...I hate that fuel tank issue.

All of ours go out with a FULL TANK OF PREMIUM fuel.

Mine had 499 :( It was a dealer trade from a dealership about 4 hours north. They send up a yellow one, and got my RJT 1SS back... I wasn't looking for any specifc color combo though.

That's kind of BS on the dealers part, since GM does not want to ship cars full of fuel GM gives dealers an allowance to fill the tank (and other prep items)
