Funniest compliments you have received so far?

I have almost started to avoid eye contact with other people while in the Camaro...simply because they yell their compliments out their windows and don't pay attention to what they are doing...they hold up traffic at lights to ask questions about it...and it is dang hard to get into a store with people gathered around your car and you know not to leave the car for fear of anyone touching it!

BUT, coming off the ferry between Canada and the U.S. in Algonac Michigan I got the best reaction I have ever had to the Stunning little beauty I drive...Stopped at a redlight and I glance over to my right to see a very "age advanced" lady of say 70 or so. She smiled at me and then did a "two thumbs up!" She started laughing and I broke out into a fit of laughter. Yes, we held traffic up when it turned green because I was laughing so hard I was having trouble clutching!

i was driving down the street and two guys walking on the side walked stopped staired and proceeded to do this (not on their knees tho) made me laugh

I was at local cruise in when a 20 something man came up. " Is that a REAL Hennessey?" yeah it is. "I hate you" oddly the best complement i ever got.

i get plenty of "i hate you because i want that car" 's ... i got tired of just laughing and smiling and adopted the comment of "so go freaking buy one..." :p

i was at a gas station tonight and 2 girls pulled up, got out, proceeded to eyescrew my car then me, they went in , came back out, 1 went to my window, 1 to passenger and said "id do anything for a car like this" i said "well ill let you take a ride" they got in and the girl in the front--- yeah... i know im gonna get a "this post is worthless w/o pics" or something. but it was dark and i was driving, hard to work a camera phone :[ srry dudes...

Then giggled and drove off.

Had a Sheriff pull up next to me today and advise me my inspection sticker was out. Said it read 2 0 (Feb 2010). I proceeded to tell him it was a new car and it did not expire until 2 12 (Feb 2012). He smiled and went about his business. Shortly later as I was closing in on home, a portly lady riding her bike gave me a thumbs up.

Sometimes I feel like a transvestite.

I will agree, have had that happen several times. Seems none of em ever want to go for a nice private ride tho.

As for a (kind-of) funny story...
I pulled up to my place one night and 3 pretty good lookin highschool chicks sat at the stop sign and waited for me to get out of my car. Then one of em says something and I couldn't quite understand so I went over to talk to them and they wanted a ride. So I took what I had in my hands up to the apt and came back out to give em a ride. When I got back into town to drop em off one of their boyfriends was waiting by their car in his camaro. (mid 90's v6) so I pulled up next to him to let em out and his buddy goes "looks like they found a better one to ride in". the dudes face was priceless. then I talked to em about the car for a while. The driver asked me if I could leave now because he didn't want to start his car up with mine runnin next to his cuz it would be kinda pathetic. I just kinda did a and proceeded to return to my apt.

I often get people that run up to see the car and they are trying to think up question to ask just to ask me "something". Anyway, nothing too funny just not intelligent and well thought out question.
