LOL! One of the birds my cat finished off, the paint ball must have just busted his wing as he was fluttering in circles when Casper the friendly cat jumped on him.

I like the remington idea best myself, but I have a more reasnable plan. The problem is getting him away from the car so I can "execute" the plan that is.
Bum rush him and when he takes flight..... Let him have it with BOTH barrels

Dude I feel your pain and frustration....years ago I had a brand new Comp. Orange Cobra and no garage...I kept it SPOTLESS...well unfortunately the driveway at my house had a powerline running diagonal over it...well all of a sudden the birds decide the power line is a good place to roost and take a crap...the orange must have attracted them. I mean the crap would be no where else but on the car..no matter where I parked...and with the set up I had to have at least part of the car under it unless I parked on the road! If I parked all the way to the left...or to the right...did't matter..no crap on the driveway...every drop on the car!
I explored all the options and ended up with one of those hideous metal carports...wife hated the look..but I was happy...no more crap on the car.
Not much help for your situation...but trust me..I understand the frustration.

Unfortunately I live in a residential area so use of a firearm( or one that makes noise) is not realistic, when I do scare him off he never lands where I can see him, he's bound to slip up sooner or later and when he does "to the moon Alice)

It's the reflection. We have a cardinal that constantly sits on a window and pecks every now and then thinking that there's another bird on the other side. Cover up the windows/mirrors or like someone said, find a rubber snake toy and just sit it on the mirror.

well i hate to say shoot the bird. sorry but i care for animals. and no not peta. but i wont go out and killing animals for fun its just not me. unless i was in a situation where i am being chased by a bear or lion something mean and i have a gun then hell yeah i am going to shoot.
i agree the bird is looking at its self in the reflection or mirror. so just buy a car cover wont be a waist of money cause you can use it everyday and it will protect your paint.

wash your car and put a nice think layer of wax on that door. search junkman
