Wow I don't understand the 'no test drive' issue.

I wasn't 100% sure I was going to buy a Camaro, went to a local dealer and within 5 minutes I was driving the car. When that salesman didn't respond to emails I went to another one that had the Synergy model I wanted and again, within 5 minutes I was driving the car around the block.

Strange.

Ok folks now let me clear up a few things here, for one I am a union pipefitter and lots of times I am out of work and I have found that when I am out of work it is the best time for me to go and look at a new car, I still average a certain amount of income a year that would qualify me for the loan, two I am a clean cut individual who considers himself rather friendly to others.
I have an outrageous car payment at the moment on the two cars that I own now(got screwed in the original deal, made a few mistakes as well, but that is another story) and even if i bought a $36k SS I STILL would have a lower payment even if I had nothing down. When I do a loan I always inform the dealer that I am unemployed certain times of the year, and so they usually will average my income out using my tax forms from previous years, so being unemployed shouldn't stop a construction worker, in fact years ago I actually bought a new car without a job and no down. What I am saying here is being unemployed should not stop folks like me.....life goes on. Besides there are many big jobs that are going to start around here and I am waiting to get my camaro till the beginning of next year and I really don't feel like anticipating this seemingly awesome car only to be disapointed at time of actual purchase because I never got to test drive it it.

PS: read new thread I am posting later today, I have good news regarding this.
