Very nice

I love seeing the "twins" of these cars. Way too cool. Thanks for posting the pix.

It is a challenge, to keep up with two cars that you want to upgrade. Budget restraints only allow me to work on one at a time. They are both becoming the cars that I want them to be.

I just bought a '68 last weekend too. It's not a twin...I still need to decide if I want to get stripes painted on the '68 to match my 2010.

It looks fine the way it is right now.

The Mini-Me was a prize I won in 2009 from Dr Pepper.

I want to advise you to remove and toss that gas filter in the trash. I used to run one like that on my '69 and they are a REAL hazard. The problem I experienced was when I parked it for a few months, the gas in the lines would empty out. The rubber o-rings in the ends of the filter will dry out and shrink. This allows the gas to pump out when you start the car back up after a long rest. You will not have a problem when you park it but when you start it back up, the gas will be squirting out all over the running engine big time. It only needs to find a spark and POOF! No more Camaro. This is not some internet legend here, it IS real. I noticed a big puddle on the floor as I was backing out of the garage so I caught it before it went up in flames but it was real close.

Enjoy your toys!

-Mark.
Thanks for your heads up, as you can tell that filter has been replaced with a new Edelbrock filter. It is very nice how information gets passed between members on this site.

I am triing to enjoy the toys while I am able.
