I never understood the emblem mod. I wouldn't put SS emblems on my LT, nor would I put a '68 scipt on my 2010.

Buy a t-shirt with the old logo. Show your support that way. That's what I do

Of course you wouldn't put SS on your LT, that's an entirely different trim level that you dont own.

Putting a (cursive)Camaro emblem on the dash of a.. Uhm.. A Camaro, is perfectly normal.

But if you simply don't like the looks, then that's your opinion and that's just fine.

It doesn't "belong" on the dash because Chevrolet didn't put it there. Besides it's not the 60's anymore, i wasn't alive then, and fresh spins on the Camaro is cool. People can stick stuff on their own car of course.

Jeez, I thought some auto restorers were nazis! It's a brand new car, and we're worried about what Chevy installed, and if Chevy didn't install it, it "doesn't belong"? Gimme a break folks

The '10 Camaro has lots of cues from the 1st generation; if that badge has no place on a modern Camaro, then neither does the SS or RS badge. And neither do aftermarket rims, custom paint jobs, or anything else like a different exhaust or different camshaft! Chevy didn't put that non GM stuff there, so those aftermarket hoods? No way, they don't belong!

Hell, it's not the '60s anymore; why even dredge up that tired old "Camaro" name anyway, the car died for a reason, right? Why do we even care about that old tired nameplate, this is the 21st century

Gahd. The emblems look fine, the script nameplate is cool.

It's not about being a nazi. I don't care for sticking badges all over the car. People can do what they want with their car. My main point is that it's an old badge. Sure there's RS and SS badges, but they aren't the same cast from the 60's. The Camaro name does appear on the fenders, and that's great, but it's not an old script.

I thought about doing this mod but decided not to. If anyone wants to put something on the dash its one of the best options out there for sure. Its tasteful. I just did the dash emblem where the hud controls are and called it a day.
