Did the same.

i guess its not that i don't like the halos but just prefer the halogens... especially when you use the fogs intandem
Proper HID's meaning properly installed, alligned and correct brightness are not blinding in the least. The blinding ones are the cheap aftermaket variety that either have too bright a bulb or are improperly alligned or both.

Here's the way I looked at it even though I got the 2LT instead of the 2SS. Instead of how much it cost over the life of the loan, I looked at the fact it only increased my car payments by around 25 dollars a month. To me, I thought it was worth it for that little.

I got the ss/rs and its amazing if your spending this kind of money for a car 1200 really is no big deal, plus the more factory ordered the better resale later.

Ask any first gen owner if they wish they could have the RS option added to their car for the small amount that it cost back then and that is your reason to order the RS option now.

I have a 69 Camaro SS 396 and I would love for it to have the RS package so it was a no brainer, had to have the RS on the 2010!

I agree, the RS package is a waste on the SS. I agree with the above poster, the Halogens plus the foglights lit up look mean. I'd rather spend $1,200 on real upgrades for the Camaro like headers, exhaust, CAI, stuff like that. HID's are for euro trash luxury cars

HID's are worth the whole 1200 trust me. The hell of putting the lights in yourself wouldn't be worth it. I also say if you have the money for a 2SS you got the money for the RS. The HID are much more than just LED bulbs as well.

I never considered not getting it, when I made the decision to get this car I knew I wanted a 2SS/RS or I wasn't getting the car.
