The Saturday thing is not an event. It is just the Long Hauller cerimonies and only Long Haulers are allowed. No car show, we just get our Long Hauler certificates and gifts, take a group photo, and hit the road. Friday is the last "show". If you show up Saturday, you will just see a bunch of parked cars for about 2 hrs and then we are gone.

Hey, Tony it was great meeting you and Will today. Super nice rides you guys have.

On a side note, maybe they should rename this years event from the Hot Rod Power Tour to the Hot Rod 2010 Camaro Tour. You couldn't swing a dead cat around the venue without hitting a Gen5 Camaro.

Should've went! It was really nice, lots of cars! Tony and Will were awesome, their cars were cool too! The Vette looks just plain nasty in person!

DuQuoin, while not exactly my back yard, is only 45 minutes away or so. Benton, even closer! BTW, I'm down in lowly Anna, lol.

So, I headed out from home this morning on my way to the Chattanooga venue, get onto I-24 East and set the cruise control on about 73mph. After about 3 miles, I look into my rearview mirror and what do I see but a white/orange stripe Gen5 and a CGM C6 Z06. Considering that I-24 is not part of the official Bowling Green-to-Chattanooga Power Tour route, what were the chances of the three of us meeting up?

In any case, there was no supercharged Z06 or supercharged Gen5 vs. twin turbo GT500 action to be had, as minutes later we ran into a pretty heavy rainstorm.

(Sorry about the bluriness, its hard to drive and take a pic in the rain at the same time.)

Good to see you guys on the tour. This has been a fun event, as usual. PQ stopped by in Mobile yesterday, all dressed up in a tie to meet us.

We stayed in New Orleans last night, headed back to Houston today.

Tony
