Mine was scheduled to be delivered to the dealer today, but it looks like it's going to get their after business hours. Which means I have to pick it up tomorrow...

Arrrrggghh!

Wow, I wish I knew this section existed. Probably would have helped with all the waiting! But mine just got to the dealer this afternoon. They are putting a stripe on it tomorrow morning and I am going to pick it up in the afternoon! So excited!!

I finally picked mine up yesterday afternoon and headed straight to the tint shop.

I have been driving it for a day and already have 80 miles on it, lol. First time in my life I didn't mind just driving for nothing and wasting gas money
I stalled it a few times already cuz it'd had been a while since I drove a manual, but pretty much got the hang of it now.

I can't wait to wash/clay/polish/wax it when the stuff from Adam's arrives.

Picked mine up Today!

I was Lucky... I originally had a TPW of 7/26 which got bumped to 7/19 then it was bumped up again and miraculously built 7/1!

Such an unbelievable car. Here are 2 pics (from my Cell phone, so sorry, I'll take some real pictures at some point) I can't believe I bought a car with only 10 Miles on it that was built for ME. I can't stop smiling!

I had a great experience working with Camaro Scotty and the team at Newman. They have won my future business! Thank you!

Well, I picked it up on Friday. I was at the bank when they opened to get the financing taken care of, then, off to the dealership I went. Everything there went smoothly and as planned (thanks to Becky D at Rodgers Chevrolet, who, btw, is AWESOME to work with and totally understands our OCD surrounding this car... in fact it seems everyone I dealt with at Rodgers does. They have a life-long customer from here on out - /endrant).

Even though I practiced driving my buddy's GTO two days prior (LS2 M6), I still stalled the first time I tried to move . Quite a different clutch-feel. Once I got a feel for the clutch, things are a lot better. I know how to drive a manual, just haven't done so regularly, ever, so it's taking some getting used to since my daily cars have always been A.

That aside, I drove around for over 100 miles on Friday. Picked it up with 6 miles on the odometer and now it reads 110, and I didn't even drive it yesterday. I wanted to drive more, but had to get home to start my weekend-long detailing marathon that evening. The first time I washed it in my driveway, EVERY person that walked and/or came by had something positive to say and/or stopped to talk about it. I've washed my other daily cars in this same driveway for YEARS and nobody so much as looks - I don't blame them, Furd Fusion is my DD and Mazda 6 is the wife's.

This car is AMAZING, everything about it is awesome and I haven't even had a chance to get super familiar with everything, or even drive it at night. Moral of this long rant - to those of you with this TPW that are still waiting... HOLD OUT, be strong, you'll be well-rewarded when it finally arrives!
