You need to look at this in a way of investing in yourself. If the 2010 will bring you more smiles than the '68, then sell it and get the 2010 if that's the only way you can afford.

I'm a big time bike guy, and I have '64 Harley that I love, but she's a cold-blooded b**** and I've ridden it 3 times since I bought it a year ago. I'd really like to keep the bike for a long time, but if selling it is what I have to do to get something I'll enjoy more, then so be it.

I'm not sure your Harley is a fair comparison. Once you've had it for 10+ years, I don't think you'd be saying the same thing.

I understand you point very well. I thought of the exact same thing with mine over and over. I only drive it about 4-5 times a year. One thing to consider.. I only pay 225.00 for full coverage on it from Hagerty. The new one will cost me a small fortune. My plan was to keep it and order the clone to it in 2011. I went to the point to add a storage lift to fit it in my garage under the old one. My wife thinks I'm out of my frigging mind having 3 vehicles now and wanting to pay insurance for 4.

I plow with my truck, and my 3rd is my Bike and there no way I'm giving that up.

If I was single and had no children my yard would be full of cars!

It's a machine, not a woman.

I had a '78 Monte Carlo through high schools and college. I loved that car. I decided to sell it buy my first bike. The day the guy drove away with it, I felt sad and like I had made a mistake. My first ride on the new bike wiped that feeling away completely.

Don't get me wrong - the '68 is a neat car and there is no doubt a lot of sentimental attachment to it, but if a 2010 will bring you more joy, then why keep it?

If it's paid for and you have room to store it, keep it.

IF you can have your cake and eat it too than do that. IF you can keep the 68' and get a 2010 than do that. IF you cant than sell the 68' while its in good value and enjoy a badass NEW camaro ss. You only live once and Tomorrow isnt promised to anyone. You could die and any given moment. You see a 68' OH wow another 68 Camaro that really cool. Same scenario you see a brand new Camaro sporting stripes and a shiny SS badge and people turn their heads and ladies panties end up wetter than a hurricane named Katrina. SELL IT AND GET YOUR THE CAR OF YOUR DREAMS!
Stare into her eyes! Look deeply into her halo's . . . her soft rumble is like a sweet serenade that calls you by name. Listen to her and never take your eyes away from her. She waits . . . . . she waits. . . . and you must say back to her "you will be mine, oh yes you will be mine"

Hey man...don't feel too bad. I'm also selling my baby for this new Camaro. She is a magazine queen and is just impossible not to like. Crowd favorite wherever I go, but the truth is I just don't drive or show her like I used to.
