Yep, the interior right now is what makes a Camaro a Camaro. I love the way it lights up at night. Last day, I was going 70MPH in this long dark Tunnel... and the Sensor picked up that it was dark and automatically turned on my Headlamps, then.. my interior lit up like a Christmas Tree.. Just AWESOME! =D I'm glad I got the 4Pack Gauges, makes the center look even better!

I think the camaro interior and exterior are the balls! I can drive this car all day for 12 hours and never get uncomfortable or bored.

The plastics on the top of the door panels scratch easy and look/feel cheap, but this doesn't take away from the comfort and feel of the car.

The car could use some scratch resistant paint and dent resistant panels. Then I could take it into a parking lot. Until then I'll just keep moving !

The car is like a night club inside ! I love to show people my car in the day because it's Bumblebee, and at night because of all those cool lights on the doors and in the dash like the rings around the speedo & tach...

The camaro is the balls by day or by night !!!!

Just DIY for that!

That's a pretty fun one to do.

The CAMARO is way above the standards for its class and even other GT & Sport cars!

I have been living and driving in real-life-world most of my adult life thank G_d, getting used to the real life issues of a PEUGEOT 505 interior, a PONTIAC FIREBIRD '95 interior, and two HONDA CBR-600 F2 and F4, so perhaps that's the reason why I find the real-life functionality and design of the CAMARO to be just fine!.

Leave the interior alone!!!

I agree- the interior is far superior to previous generations. I do gripe about the cup holders though and the non-existent visors- I wish they had made a fold down cup holder on the back of the console compartment so that you can put your drink back there and still shift the car. So, I don't drink much in it and I got dark sunglasses. As far as the blandness I took care of that too and I am making further enhancements inside as well .

I would agree, I am very impressed with the interior of my 2SS. I especially like driving her at night!!!

Just a bit of retro, but also modern as well, I give GM an A on this one!!!

You know what? I dont mind the plastic for the interiors... but there is ONE thing i think sticks out like a sore thumb... THE HAND brake... o_o. It's BIG, Plasticy... and No design to it lol. I mean, its not something we interact with TOO much... but yeah, I've seen better... lol

My complaint would be the lack of color options.
The beige should be the ENTIRE interior, not just the seat inserts & door panels.
Same goes for the gray (only the seat inserts & door panels). Plus with the gray they changed the carpet color to a gray that was so lite gray that it was almost an off white.
Both of the above would not be so bad if they had not used such lite shades of beige and gray.

Black was the only way to go that looked good with the Jewel Red exterior.

It's cheap?

My Nissan Quest minivan has much nicer materials. Soft plastic that doesn't get marred if you scratch it.

Chevy obviously knows this is a weak spot which is why they are correcting it for 2012. If they upgrade the motor as well, I may seriously trade up.

I bought a muscle car, not a Cadillac. I ordered a 1SS with cloth interior because it's more comfortable in the hot weather (my RX8 had black leather and I got tired of sitting on a skillet after it sat in the sun and having the entire back of my shirt soaking wet in minutes). I think the interior is beautiful for a muscle car; dark gray cloth covers the areas that are cheap plastic on the 2SS models and on mine it looks very classy.

The only 2 things I would like to see changed is cup holder location, and the 4 minor gauges being put in the flat vertical area above the center vents on the dash.

Otherwise this is the most comfortable, enjoyable, fun and exciting car I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of cars over the last 40 years.
