Thanks, fbodfather, for putting it into perspective. I think we all benefited from that reminder. And we should all count our blessings more often and be thankful to those brave souls who have made most of them possible!!!

i think we do under appreciate alot of what we have now. yeah things suck in the economy but as long as im alive another day.... its going to be a good day.

I never forget the sacrifice that our soldiers, sailors, and airmen have made for us. I will be on 'Juno Beach' Normandy June 6th, 2009 for the 65th anniversary of D-Day. I've been planing on doing this since I was about 16 and until now I haven't had the opportunity.

Lastly, I'm reminded of this quote
