Ok, First of all. I truly hope the two elderly people are ok. I hope they recover soon and get a really big check from the idiot that hit them.

They can go to the Chevrolet dealer and buy a nice brand new reliable truck and go on vacation with the money.

i can see this.....he had it in 2nd going round a bend...stood on it...the car spins around as he panics with the steering and brakes, suddenly he's backwards and bam , most of the damage was with the Ranger.....then he deflected (going backwards and hit the sign. at about 25-30 mph. think of his back as the front...since he was out of control going backwards...

you think that car will be sold as a rebuilt title??

There was nothing bad ass about that car... other than now it looks like a shiny shoebox. I see this CONSTANTLY and sometimes even roll overs all because idiots think they can show off in their cars. What blows me away is the guy was driving backwards? I would have thought he lost control and struck the rear but if that's what he was doing then he truly is a moron.

Of course with the way laws are he wont ever spend a minute in jail... get a BS traffic ticket but end up paying money out to those ladies. Hopefully not only does the insurance company go after him, but the women for damages. See if they can't take his other car or his house from him.

Really sad to hear that the elderly people, innocent bystanders were injured in this accident. I hope the driver of the Mustang goes to jail for attempted vehicular manslaughter. It won't get him much time, though. I lost my parents and in-laws in one accident (they had become best friends after my wife and I were married) 3 years ago to a tractor trailer driver coming down a mountain in NC at over 60mph (8* slope, speed limit was 30mph for trucks). He lost control at the base of the mountain and overturned, striking my father's Avalanche at an estimated speed of 85mph. He is now serving 44 months in NC prison for 4 counts of vehicular manslaughter. I hope this idiot gets at least half the sentence!
