However, I'd also suggest getting with as many local groups (Southside Mustangs already does an event for Riley). You might be able to do a co-promotion or something along those events. If you can avoid duplicating the work, why not?

yeah I'm in if we can get this going. It would be cool to get the Mustang boys in on this and kinda promote goodwill between us. Is there a Challenger group in Indy? Could try and get them involved too if there is one. It's a great cause for everybody to come together for.

Nothing new yet so far. I tried contacting the Mustang group through their website but haven't heard anything back yet. I don't know if DevilsReject might have a better chance, since he knew about the group I figure perhaps he knows some of the members? I still need to look into finding a challenger group in or around Indy unless someone already knows of one.

I work at the E. Washington St. club to answer your other question. Unfortunately, I haven't seen my contact in our Marketing department that I had been working with to set this up since this idea started coming back to life, but you can be sure that as soon as I do I will bring it up with her.

Of course, if anyone has any new ideas or suggestions I am always open to hearing them. This is the first big event like this that I have tried to organize so any help is appreciated.

Don't be discouraged by slow progress. Progress is still progress no matter how slow. It will come together at some point I'm sure.
